Understanding Your Inner World
IFS Healing Circles merge the profound impact of IFS with the deep, sacred work of group therapy.
IFS is a deeply compassionate model that helps us connect with the parts within us that need tending and develop a relationship with them that helps our whole system find more clarity, peace, joy, and love.
IFS offers a caring way to work effectively with polarized parts that keep us stuck. It helps us unburden old traumas, emotions, and beliefs. And IFS helps us to inhabit our core sacred essence more fully and, over time, lead our lives from that essence.
What are IFS Healing Circles?
Healing Circles are a transformative practice designed to foster connection, healing, and growth within a community. Developed by Chris Burris, a Senior Lead Internal Family Systems (IFS) Trainer with over 30 years of experience, these circles aim to create a supportive environment where individuals can explore their inner landscapes and share their experiences. Chris has dedicated much of his work to underserved and marginalized populations, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in healing practices. I have had the honor of of attending two Healing Circles trainings and directly working with Chris over this past year.
At their core, Healing Circles recognize that people thrive when they come together to support one another. Chris articulates this beautifully, stating, "People are meant to discover, heal, and grow in community." In a society that often prioritizes individualism, Healing Circles provide a refreshing approach, reminding us of the significance of collective healing and support.

What to Expect
During these sessions, practitioners trained in the IFS model gather to harness the power of community and the insights offered by the IFS approach. Guided by a trained facilitator, the circles create a sacred space for participants to engage deeply with their emotions and experiences. This combination of community and therapeutic guidance paves the way for profound connections and personal growth.

Who Could Benefit from IFS Healing Circles?
In today's world, where many face unprecedented challenges, the need for a conscious community and deeper internal connections has never been more crucial. Healing Circles not only envision solutions for the future but actively participate in co-creating them. They are for anyone seeking to heal, grow, and connect with others in a meaningful way, making them a vital resource for individuals from all walks of life.

My Personal Journey...
Personally, attending the Creating Healing Circles Training has profoundly impacted my life and practice. The insights gained and the connections made within these circles have been transformative, enriching my understanding of myself and enhancing my ability to support others. The spiritual growth experienced in these spaces is beyond measure, reinforcing the idea that healing is often a communal journey.

About the Series
In this 10-week series, we combine the power of IFS with deep group work to enhance the healing experience. You’ll engage in:
guided meditations
Guided meditations will help participants connect with their inner world by quieting the mind and focusing attention inward. These meditations create a safe space to access and communicate with different parts, fostering self-awareness, compassion, and healing.
parts mapping
Parts mapping is a visual and experiential process where individuals identify and organize the different parts of their internal system. By mapping out parts, including their roles and relationships, participants can gain a clearer understanding of their internal dynamics and how certain parts influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
embodied practices
Embodied practices in IFS involve tuning into the body to feel where different parts are located and how they express themselves physically. This approach deepens the connection between the mind and body, allowing for a more holistic healing process that honors the sensations and emotions stored within the body.
group sculpting*
Group sculpting is a powerful process where a participant works directly with me with the group members supporting by stepping into the roles of the person’s parts, bringing about more clarity of inner dynamics and more space for healing.
*Each participant will have the opportunity of a session with Achara during group to have their own sculpt or do inner work with the group supporting.
